Overview
The online store is where customers (who are using the online ordering feature) will place their orders.

Step 1: Choose Your Online Menu Layout
1.1 Select a Theme
1. In the Online section, tap on the Theme drop down list.
2. Select:
(a) QR Code Plus(Grid View) to present your online menu as a grid.![]() | (b) QR Code Plus(List View) to present your online menu as a list.![]() |
1.2 Header
1. Header Preview — Allows you to view the changes you've made to the logo and the text next to it.
2. Edit Logo — Tapping on this button will redirect you to Receipt Configuration, where you can change the logo and text of your receipt.
3. Text beside the Logo — You can change the name of your online store in this text box.

Step 2: Configure Settings (QR Code Plus)
2.1 Basic Setup
2.1.1 Social Login (Facebook, Google, Pineapple)
1. Disable — Customers will not need to log in before making an order through the online store
2. Enable — Customers must log into any one of the 3 accounts accepted in order to use the online store.
3. Optional — Customers can choose whether they want to login or not before placing an order through the online store.
Customers can tap on Skip Login to skip the login process
Note:
1) If a customer ticks the following option (highlighted with a red box) and logs in with either Facebook or Google, a Pineapple account will be created automatically for the user. | 2) Once the account is created, the customer will receive an email from FoodZaps informing them of their account creation, along with their Card No (user ID) and Pin No (password). | 3) Customers can then login using Pineapple using their own Card No and Pin No. |

2.1.2 Managing Unavailable Items
The options below are used to determine how unavailable items and orders containing these items are handled:
1. How to show item that is Out Of Stock/Disable?
With Crispy Calamari disabled, the table below explains what each option does along with their examples:
(a) Don't Publish Hides the item from the online store. As shown on the right, Crispy Calamari no longer appears on the online store. | ![]() |
(b) Publish and show as No Stock Show the item on the online store, but Cart will be replaced with Out of Stock. As shown on the right, Crispy Calamari still appears on the online store, but customers are not able to add it to their cart | ![]() |
(c) Publish and show as Available Display the item on the online store like every other item. As shown on the right, customers can still add Crispy Calamari to their Cart. | ![]() |
2. How to manage order that is Out Of Stock/Disable?
Since customers will still be able to order unavailable items if Publish and show as Available is selected for the previous option, the following options will be used to determine how the order should be managed:
(d) Reject the whole order if one item is out of stock — The entire order will be rejected.
(e) Only reject item that is out of stock — Aside from the unavailable item, the rest of the order will be carried out.
(f) Don't check — The entire order will be processed as usual.
2.1.3 Enable web animated scrolling
When customers tap on a category on the Side Menu, toggling:
Yes will cause the online store to scroll smoothly to that category. ![]() | No will cause the online store to jump directly to that category. ![]() |
2.1.4 Checkout Option
Show Enter Remarks at Checkout — This option allows you to choose whether customers can add an extra note regarding their order.
Show Take Away Option at Checkout — This option allows you to choose whether customers can make their online order into a takeaway order.

2.1.5 Other Settings
Multi-Language — This option allows you to choose whether customers can change the language of the online store.
1. English — The online store will be displayed in English only.
2. English | 中文 — mers will be given the option of selecting a language (English or Chinese) upon loading the online store, which can be changed later.
3. 中文 | English — Sas 2, but the default language upon loading the online store will be Chinese instead of English.
A. Call for Waiter — This option allows you to decide whether customers can call for a waiter through the online store.
B. Call for Bill — This option allows you to decide whether customers can call for their bill using the online store.
If any of these options are enabled, customers can access them from the top right corner of the online store.

2.2 Advanced Settings
2.2.1 Type of Menu to Publish
This setting allows you to pick which menu(s) should be published onto the Online Store:
A. Regular Menu — Publish all items in the EMenu.
B. Promotion Only — Publish items that have been grouped under promotions only.
C. All (Regular & Promotion) — Publish both the EMenu and items under promotion.
2.2.2 Other Settings
1. How to show the price name? — This option allows you to change how prices are shown on the online store. See the table below for a better idea of what each option does:
(a) Hide the price

(b) Discounted price and discount percentage:

2. Show the description of item — This option allows you to show or hide item descriptions on the online store.
3. Show the modifier of the item — This option allows you to show or hide modifiers on the online store. If Yes is toggled, customers will be able to select premade modifiers; If No is toggled, customers will have to manually enter the modifier for an item.

4. Category Navigation Bar (Mobile View Only)
This option allows you to change how the online store's Navigation Bar behaves on smartphones.
(a) Selecting Side Navigation Bar will make the navigation bar constantly visible on the left side of the screen. | (b) Selecting Auto Hide Navigation Bar will add an extra button to the side navigation bar, which is used to minimize it. | (c) Selecting Top Navigation Bar will make the navigation bar constantly visible at the top of the screen. |

2.2.3 Operating Hours
Operating Hour(s) can be specified to prevent customers from making orders while the shop is closed.
When tapping on the text box, a time picker dialog will pop up.

If a customer tries to make an order outside the designated Operating Hour, the following message will be displayed:
2.3 Security
2.3.1 Order Expired Time
Once a customer places an order successfully, the order will be sent to the kitchen, where it will wait for a response. However, the order can expire based on your settings (from 5 minutes up to 8 hours).
Pending State — An order will remain in Pending State as long as the kitchen does not accept the order. In that case, a pop up will inform the customer to check back later.
