Overview
The Kitchen Display Unit (KDS) is a digital order viewer that instantly displays an order upon confirmation by a waiter or cashier.
With the KDS, your kitchen staff will no longer have to worry about illegible handwritten orders or the kitchen printer running out of paper!

Basic Configuration
Accessing the Settings Menu
1. On the Home screen, select Setting.
2. Under the PRINTER/DEVICE section, select Kitchen Display Unit.
3. The screen below will be displayed.

Display/View
1. Use colour to differentiate the orders
(a) If Yes is toggled, each order will be given its own colour to differentiate itself from the other orders. | (b) If No is toggled, all the orders will be in yellow, each with a slightly different shade to differentiate itself from the orders next to it. |

2. Show Item's Image
(a) If Yes is toggled, items that have images will be displayed. | (b) If No is toggled, the items' images will not be displayed. |

3. Arrange the Order in the sequence of
(a) If from Top Down Top Down is selected. | (b) If from Left Right Left Right is selected. |

Group Order by
1. What to group by
(a) Item The header of each section is labelled by an item name. | ![]() |
(b) Order The header of each section is labelled by its order number followed by its table number and number of people. | ![]() |

2. Grouping sequence
(a) Descending — The orders are arranged from the newest to the oldest order.
(b) Ascending — The orders are arranged from the oldest to the newest order.
Select Prepare Station
(a) Selecting this option will allow you to display items categorized under different prepare stations.
Clicking on Edit will display a dialog that allows you to pick the prepare stations you want to see.
(b) Selecting any one of these options will allow you to display items from one prepare station only.

Select Progress Status
(a) For this option, Primary Progress is usually selected.
If Primary Progress is selected, bills will disappear from the KDS once it's paid.
However, selecting Secondary Progress will display bills that have already been paid on the KDS. This is because Secondary Progress is used for the KDS to track its own progress.
(b) This option is used to select which bill status the KDS will monitor.
If you would like to monitor only one status, select the desired status' radio button.
If you would like to monitor more than one status, select Customize and tap on Edit to select the status (similar to this).
